Those of you who have been following from the beginning have most likely read my coverage of the previous three Freedom Convoy protests before Parliament here in Victoria, BC:
So this time I would rather write another article; instead I shall relate it using the government’s voice:
This Saturday was yet another dark day for our democracy. Once more, hordes of angry protesters, representing a fringe minority with unacceptable views, have besieged the seat of our Legislature, at the core of our province’s capital, wrecking havoc in their wake as they trampled these grounds we all hold sacred.
We counted record attendance from the usual basket of deplorables. The crowd featured countless neo-Nazis, some with svastikas tattooed to their very faces, trying to recruit our youths into the Brown Shirts; neo-Confederates and other white supremacist groups carrying out lynchings at the outskirts of the protest grounds; Putin’s lackeys spreading propaganda about Ukraine and performing acts of sabotage; suspicious college students allegedly paid by the Chinese government to help spread their virus even further by having us lower our defenses… and of course official presence from the Church of Satan.
These wicked thugs even had the audacity of using our children as human shields, luring them onto Parliament grounds with candy by known NIMBLA operatives.
Then the rioters swarmed the parliament building, chanting the Nazi anthem and clamouring for their own January 6 moment. Our brave police officers quickly established a cordon before the gate and held it firm against the relentless assaults of the crowd. When all hope seemed lost, reinforcements of hundreds of counter-protesters flanked the insurrectionists and drove them away, at the peril of their lives. The riot police then proceeded to arrest over one hundred culprits, which shall be charged with sedition.
Our Premier is expected to make an official announcement pertaining to this grave threat to his approval ratings. Rumour goes that every civilian who helped save our glorious democracy from these miscreants shall be awarded the British Columbia Medal of Good Citizenship. As for the prisoners, they are to be shipped to Camp Delta in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, pending trial which shall hopefully never come; let them rot in their cells indefinitely, serves them right.
Next weekend’s protest promises to be even bigger. Stay tuned!
