Allow me to show you how one pushes back against a bully. Especially an Internet troll stupid enough to operate under his real name.
Notorious Internet troll Charles Bodi of Victoria is officially on notice for harassing homeless advocates and spreading libellous statements on social media.
Bodi, who self-describes as a “community inclusion manager” running on an anti-bullying platform, is actually an extremely divisive figure routinely engaging in transphobic trolling and other minority advocate harassment from his Twitter account.
In fact, his trolling got so bad that it caused him to be publicly repudiated by BC United MLA Elenore Sturko, already a toxic character herself, after he wormed his way into the Speech for the Throne ceremony in 2024:
According to a source speaking under condition of anonymity, Bodi’s hatred of transsexuals in particular stems from being born without testicles, forcing him to secretly undergo hormone replacement therapy. This rumour could not be independently verified.
Lately, Bodi’s newest plaything seems to have been an indigenous female outreach worker operating from the James Bay area. Whether acting out of envy or a combination of racism and misogyny, he keeps posting groundless and outright defamatory allegations pertaining to her organisation engaging in some nebulous fraud.
Bodi is known to enjoy a cosy relationship with the Victoria Police Department. He’s been using his leverage to obtain improper favours from the city, such as having a councillor pay for his bike repairs.
His relationship with the city has since deteriorated, culminating with being blocked on Twitter, which bruised his ego to such extent that he started a petition to reverse the block; it gathered only 15 signatures.
His standing with VicPD remains high, however, due to his sycophantic eagerness to help them crack down on peaceful protesters under the pretence of being a journalist.
As of September 2, 2022, Charles Bodi resided at 2815 Irma Street in Victoria. His address appears on his formal endorsement of city council candidate Janice Williams, who has since been found guilty of violating electoral law.
Bodi perfectly fits the psychological profile of vindictive narcissist, which is prevalent among bullies, along with vague delusions of persecution rooted in psychological projection, reminiscent of a certain Donald Trump.
Bodi could not be reached for comments prior to deadline, and neither could his psychotherapist.
